General Practice Law Office

I began my journey into the legal profession while attending Truman State University, where I had the honor of serving as an intern in the Missouri House of Representatives. After earning my degree in history with a pre-law track, I attended Syracuse University College of Law. During this time period, I worked as an extern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York and served on the University’s Law Review before graduating magna cum laude in May 2001.

Before beginning my own general practice law office, I started my career as an associate attorney for Latham & Watkins in New York City. I represented creditors during the bankruptcies of WorldCom and Enron and provided counsel for clients on the various aspects of capital and debt market transactions, commercial real estate, and private equity investments. I am also proud to have worked for a pro bono team of attorneys at Latham who were able to exonerate an incarcerated individual who spent nearly 20 years on death row in Texas.

It was at this time in 2005 that I relocated to Oregon and began practicing law here in 2006, opening my practice, Robert E. Kellogg PC. I am a proud resident of the City of Tualatin, Oregon, and am deeply involved with civic affairs in my community and the South Metro Region, including serving as president of the Ibach Citizens Involvement Organization, a citizen advocacy organization representing the concerns and goals of approximately 1,500 homes in Southwest Tualatin. I am also a member of the Washington County Transportation Futures Study Advisory Committee, member of the City of Tualatin Budget Committee, chairman of the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy Committee, and member of the Budget Committee for the Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency (911 dispatch and law enforcement communications service).

Call today for more information on my credentials and expertise. I am proud to serve Tualatin, Oregon, and the surrounding area.
